Through the psychoanalytic lens and a brief overview of the psychoanalytic literature, we re-connect to notions of home. Homemaking serves as a mediating practice throughout life because it projects a person\u2019s internal home representation onto the home itself. The gaps between the representations of a person\u2019s internal home and that person\u2019s physical\/external home are discussed as a &#8216;potential space.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:
