Despite being at the peak of the third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, our Chapter continues to work diligently, meeting bi-weekly via Zoom.<\/p>\n

Ecopsychoanalysis has been the focus of this year\u2019s activities, and our study group comprises 15 members. Dr. Joseph Dodds (Czech Republic) kindly accepted our invitation to be the first speaker in January, providing us with a panoramic view of this transdisciplinary field. Efrossyni Moureli, a psychiatrist, family therapist and group analyst, has been our second speaker, explicating major concepts in the ecological theory of Gregory Bateson.<\/p>\n

Further contributions include presentations on complexity theory and nonlinear dynamics as well as an introduction to the ecological theories of French philosopher Gilles Deleuze and French psychoanalyst Felix Guattari who have enriched the field with their novel conceptualizations.<\/p>\n

Our group also attended the January symposium on Covid-19 organized by IARPP, and a fruitful discussion ensued regarding the implications of the new frame imposed by the pandemic in our clinical work.<\/p>\n
