Despite the restrictions and uncertainty brought by the pandemic, the past academic year has been a very productive one for our chapter.<\/p>\n

We ran a year-long seminar on the Freudian-Laplanchian approach to the unconscious with Avgi Saketopoulou (USA).<\/p>\n

Our Study Group on Ecopsychoanalysis had a second meeting with Joseph Dodds (Czech Republic) to discuss the problematization of current ecological problems. We moved to social psychoanalysis issues in preparation for the post-human, the major theme we will study in the fall of 2022.<\/p>\n

We offered a workshop with one of our members, Konstantinos Dimatis, Ph.D. candidate, on the clinical issues ensuing from disorganized attachment. Based on the enthusiastic response, Konstantinos will organize a year-long study group on attachment during the upcoming academic year.<\/p>\n

As Relational psychoanalysis is gaining more attention in our community, members of our chapter will cover the basic theoretical and clinical innovations introduced by the Relational movement in a yearly seminar starting in October.<\/p>\n
