It did little physical damage, but it felt like the latest iteration of instability and uncertainty characteristic of this time period. It seems that our sense of going-on-being is continually challenged and taken less for granted these days. Still, an earthquake in New Jersey? As a native son of the Garden State, I know well the region\u2019s propensity to throw me off-balance, but this latest doing surpassed my imaginings.<\/p>\n<p>An online search reveals that there are no fault lines running beneath the Yucat\u00e1n\u00a0Peninsula \u2013 all the more reason to make plans to attend our upcoming Annual Conference in M\u00e9rida, Mexico.
