IARPP Member’s Listserv Guidelines<\/strong><\/p>\n

The purpose of the IARPP Members’ Listserv is for IARPP members to communicate with one another on issues of professional concern. As an international organization we encourage all members to post announcements of international relevance.<\/p>\n

Therefore we welcome:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1) Book releases\/book announcements of IARPP members
\n2) Presentations by IARPP members in programs within but particularly outside their country of residence
\n3) Academic and scientific articles of interest to the international membership
\n4) Call for papers for international or local conferences
\n5) Educational events for an international or local audience
\n6) Conference announcements for an international or local audience
\n7) Referral requests – using the following format:<\/p>\n

Subject header:<\/strong>\u00a0include “Seeking Referral” (or something to that effect)\u00a0and<\/strong>\u00a0Referral Location
\nReferral Request must include:<\/strong><\/p>\n

-Brief description
\n– Sentence which states “Please send replies directly to me at… email@address” (or something to that effect)
\n– Name of person making the request<\/p>\n

Please note: Responses to referral requests should be sent directly to the person making the request. Responses sent to the listserv will be returned to sender.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

We will not post announcements:
\n<\/strong>
\n– That are not of professional concern
\n– Concerning private practice topics such as office space or study groups
\n– Announcements of any events where dates conflict with the IARPP conference<\/p>\n

And finally, to maintain an open avenue of communication on the IARPP listserv yet not overstuff the list,\u00a0institutions are limited to posting two events per month<\/strong>. Each event may be listed twice.<\/p>\n

As a general guideline, we request that\u00a0members limit their total number of all posts to 3 per month.<\/strong><\/p>\n

MEMBERS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO POST FOR NON-MEMBERS.<\/p>\n

Our listserv facilitators retain discretionary authority to limit use of the listserv if these guidelines are not followed.<\/p>\n
