{"id":5175,"date":"2016-12-15T23:06:04","date_gmt":"2016-12-15T23:06:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iarpp.net\/?post_type=article&#038;p=5175"},"modified":"2016-12-17T18:01:10","modified_gmt":"2016-12-17T18:01:10","slug":"report-from-the-webinar-committee-3","status":"publish","type":"article","link":"https:\/\/iarpp.net\/thesite\/article\/report-from-the-webinar-committee-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Report from the Webinar Committee"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>By <strong>Allison Katz<\/strong> (USA) and<strong> Andr\u00e9 Sassenfeld<\/strong> (Chile)<br \/>\nCo-chairs, Webinar Committee<\/p>\n<p>2016 has been an exciting year for our Web Seminars. \u00a0Our most recent program ran from October 17 to 31, 2016, and was lead by <strong>Margaret Crastnopol (USA).<\/strong> The webinar was entitled\u00a0<strong>\u201cMicro-traumatic Experience: Identifying and Healing its Cumulative Toxic Effects.\u201d \u00a0<\/strong>The conversation was challenging and lively, with approximately 100 participants from all over the world.<\/p>\n<p>2017 is shaping up to be another year of rich programs lead by some of the most exciting thinkers in our field. Starting\u00a0with the Candidates\u2019 webinar from January 16 through February 5, <strong>Sandra Buechler (USA)<\/strong> will lead candidates and recent graduates in a discussion entitled \u201c<strong>Thinking, Feeling, and Relating<em>.<\/em>\u201d<em>\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>Readings will include chapters from Buechler\u2019s book <em>Making a Difference in Patients\u2019 Lives: Emotional Experience in the Therapeutic Setting<\/em> (Routledge, 2008).<\/p>\n<p>For a description of this webinar, see the <a href=\"http:\/\/iarpp.net\/article\/candidates-committee\/\">Candidates\u2019 Committee update.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>From\u00a0\u202aFebruary 4 through 19, 2017,\u00a0<strong>Donna Orange (USA)<\/strong> will lead a webinar entitled,\u00a0<strong>\u201cMy Other\u2019s Keeper: Radical Ethics and the Fear of Masochism.\u201d<em> \u00a0<\/em><\/strong> Shortly thereafter,\u00a0<strong>Shelly Itzowitz (USA)<\/strong> and <strong>Elizabeth Howell (USA)<\/strong> will lead a program from\u00a0March 6 through 19, 2017,\u202a based on their recent book,<em> <strong>The Dissociative Mind in Psychoanalysis.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>From\u00a0March 27 through April 9, we will conduct a webinar in Italian entitled\u00a0<strong>\u201cThe Supervision Experience.\u201d <\/strong>Several Italian panelists, including <strong>Susanna Federici, Gianni Nebbiosi, Paolo Stramba-Badiale, Maria Silvia Soriato, <\/strong>and<strong> Arcangela Derosa<\/strong> will present.
