I have contributed a chapter to Clinical Implications of the Analyst’s Life Experiences, a collection of papers by noted analysts describing how pivotal life experiences contributed to our personal and professional functioning, choices of theoretical positions, and clinical technique. My chapter, Sweet Dreams Are Made of This (Or, How I Came out and Came into My Own)<\/i>, describes my coming out experience, and how it continues to impact my clinical work and interest in relational psychoanalysis. Steven Kuchuck is the editor of the volume, which is part of the Relational Perspectives Book Series published by Routledge.<\/p>\n
