Dear IARPP Colleagues,<\/p>\n

I\u2019m pleased to bring you the current edition of IARPP\u2019s online newsletter, linking members from around the world with news from our relational community.<\/p>\n

Now is the time to renew your IARPP membership, if you haven\u2019t already done so. You can go to the Membership Committee page of this newsletter for information and a renewal link.<\/p>\n

In this issue, our President, Steven Kuchuck, shares important news related to this summer\u2019s 17th<\/sup> Annual Conference, \u201cImagining with Eyes Wide Open: Relational Journeys,\u201d in Tel Aviv. You\u2019ll also find reports from the leadership of various IARPP committees and reflections on the year past as well as announcements of this year\u2019s plans from a number of local chapters.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll note that we have changed the title from \u201ceNews\u201d to \u201cBulletin.\u201d In instituting this change, I may be guilty of falling into the narcissism of small differences (Freud, 1917, 1930). That said, my conscious intention is to bring us up-to-date. Even a neo-Luddite like myself has come to understand that almost all such organizational newsletters are now online (the \u201ce\u201d is for electronic), so if we can now take the electronic\/internet delivery system as a given, we no longer need the \u201ce-\u201c prefix. As for \u201cbulletin,\u201d its use was popularized in the Napoleonic Wars \u201cas the name for dispatches sent from the front and meant for the home public\u201d (Online Etymology Dictionary, n.d.). So, from my virtual front to your virtual home, enjoy. (You can analyze my Napoleon Complex as you see fit.)<\/p>\n

  1. Title of your recent or upcoming publication or presentation
    \n(Note: We do not publish news of presentations given at the IARPP Annual Conference)<\/li>\n
  2. Brief description of its content (such as an abstract)<\/li>\n
  3. Link to a publisher (if applicable) so that members might access or purchase a copy<\/li>\n
  4. Book cover photo or artwork (if applicable)<\/li>\n
  5. Digital photograph of yourself (jpeg format)<\/li>\n
  6. Professional contact information as you would like it to appear publicly for our readers (email and mailing address)<\/li>\n
  7. For presentations, please include location and spell out any acronyms<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
