We have been facing a strict lockdown during the last four and a half months. Almost everybody has moved to online sessions. The pandemic came to deepen the hardship of vast sectors of our citizens who protested for the same reason since October 2019. The political has had to be dealt in the sessions. These themes were in the forefront of our chapter\u2019s meeting at the end of 2019 and beginning of 2020, as we reported in the last Bulletin<\/em>.<\/p>\n

During the quarantine, still in place, our chapter has had two online meetings to explore how our practice has changed and the ways to deal with these changes.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The first meeting, in April, was entitled, \u201cWith You at a Distance: Relational Therapy in Times of Quarantine.\u201d What surfaced were mainly the anxieties and suffering confronted jointly by patients and therapist and the doubts concerning changes in the settings. \u201cWe are all in the same boat\u201d was the emergent metaphor that summarizes the meeting.<\/p>\n

The second meeting, in June, we entitled, \u201cWith You at a Distance: Second Stanza. What is Opened, What is Preserved, What is Revealed, What is Lost? The Creaks in our Clinical Practice.\u201d A further and deeper exploration was accomplished, taking as food for thought the changes in our clinical practice in this pandemic. Considering the privileges that we as therapists have even in such hard times for all, the metaphor that emerged was \u201cWe are all in the same turbulent sea but in different boats.\u201d\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

With joy, we announce to our community in this edition of the Bulletin<\/em> that a group of our chapter members, under the editorial leadership of Sebasti\u00e1n Le\u00f3n and B\u00e1rbara Ort\u00fazar, have finally, after years of hard work, published an \u201cIntroductory Dictionary of Relational and Intersubjective Psychoanalysis.\u201d The publication was funded by IARPP-Chile. We offer our congratulations to the group for the achievement of a beautiful communitarian effort.<\/p>\n

We are now planning future online meetings, still under the uncertainty, shared with all the world, of how and when we will be able to meet again, not online, but with our bodies fully present.<\/p>\n

Reporte Newsletter IARPP\u2013Chile<\/p>\n

Hemos estado confrontando un confinamiento estricto durante los \u00faltimos cuatro meses y medio. La gran mayor\u00eda comenz\u00f3 a atender a trav\u00e9s de plataformas digitales online. La pandemia vino a profundizar a\u00fan m\u00e1s el sufrimiento de grandes sectores de la poblaci\u00f3n que ya hab\u00edan protestado por lo mismo a partir de Octubre del a\u00f1o reci\u00e9n pasado. Lo pol\u00edtico ha debido ser tratado y dialogado en los consultorios. Estos temas estuvieron muy presentes en las jornadas que nuestro cap\u00edtulo realizo a fines del 2019 y comienzos de este a\u00f1o. Esto fue comunicado en el anterior newsletter.<\/p>\n

Durante la cuarentena, que a\u00fan\u00a0 contin\u00faa, nuestro cap\u00edtulo ha realizado dos jornadas online. En estas hemos explorado como ha cambiado nuestra pr\u00e1ctica y el modo de lidiar con estos cambios.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>El primer encuentro denominado \u201cContigo a la Distancia: Terapia Relacional en Tiempos de Cuarentena.\u201d En este lo que emergi\u00f3 fueron principalmente las ansiedades y sufrimiento confrontadas en conjunto por pacientes y terapeutas, como as\u00ed tambi\u00e9n, las dudas relativas a los cambios en los encuadres. \u201cEstamos todos en el mismo bote\u201d fue la met\u00e1fora que\u00a0 emergi\u00f3 y que puede resumir esta jornada.<\/p>\n

El segundo encuentro fue nombrado como \u201cContigo a la Distancia: Segunda Estrofa. \u00bfQue se abre, que se conserva, que se devela , que se pierde? Los crujidos de nuestra pr\u00e1ctica en tiempos de pandemia.\u201d En estas jornadas se profundiz\u00f3 y se avanz\u00f3 en la exploraci\u00f3n\u00a0 en los cambios en nuestra pr\u00e1ctica cl\u00ednica durante esta pandemia. Tomando en cuenta el privilegio en que nosotros como terapeutas nos encontramos, a\u00fan en circunstancias tan adversas para todos, la met\u00e1fora que emergi\u00f3 fue: \u201cEstamos todos en el mismo mar turbulento pero en botes distintos.\u201d\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Con alegr\u00eda comunicamos y hacemos saber a nuestra comunidad, en este n\u00famero de nuestro newsletter, que un grupo de miembros de nuestro cap\u00edtulo, bajo el liderazgo editorial de Sebasti\u00e1n Le\u00f3n y B\u00e1rbara Ort\u00fazar, despu\u00e9s de a\u00f1os de esforzado trabajo, finalmente publicaron el \u201cDiccionario Introductorio al Psicoan\u00e1lisis Relacional e Intersubjetivo.\u201d La publicaci\u00f3n fue financiada por IARPP-Chile. Damos nuestras felicitaciones al grupo por este logro de un bello trabajo comunitario.<\/p>\n

Estamos planificando futuros eventos online bajo la incertidumbre, compartida planetariamente, de cu\u00e1ndo y como podremos encontrarnos otra vez, no online, sino con nuestros cuerpos plenamente presentes.<\/p>\n
