Bienvenidos al Seminario en Español del 2024.
Nos sentimos muy entusiasmadas de abrir un espacio para la discusión y reflexión de un material fundamental para el trabajo clínico relacional ¿A qué se refiere la disponibilidad del analista , de la que tanto hablamos? Silvia Saraceno Fasce se ha dedicado a hacer una investigación sería de lo que se refiere esta idea y vamos a tener la oportunidad de comentarla con ella.
Ella plantea que “la disponibilidad del analista es un constructo multidimensional, donde el analista está comprometido e implicado tanto con su persona como con su quehacer profesional, lo que se pondrá en evidencia al desplegar sus cualidades personales y las diferentes funciones instrumentales que la singularidad del paciente requiera durante el encuentro analítico” (Saraceno, 2023).
Cómo se pueden co-construir las funciones relevantes de la disponibilidad?
Silvia invita a pacientes expertos y analistas expertos a un diálogo en el que surgen las funciones que necesita cubrir el analista, como son el sostén, la mutualidad, la empatía, la función de reverie, entre otras.
Los invitamos a todos a participar y a interrogarnos , como sugiere Silvia, sobre lo que sucede en este “complejo entrecruzamiento que se produce entre los mundos subjetivos del analista y del paciente”.

Es Doctora en Psicología PhD (USAL), Magister en Psicoanálisis. Mg (USAL-APA), Psicóloga Clínica (UK) e Institucional, Licenciada en Administración de Empresas (UB) y Contadora Publica (UB).
Miembro de la Asociación Internacional de P sicoanálisis y Psicoterapia Relacional (IARPP), Miembro de la Asociación de Psiquiatras Argentinos (APSA), Analista en formación de la Asociación Psicoanalítica Argentina (APA)., Integrante del Equipo de Investigación de Psicoanálisis Contemporáneo y/o lo Disruptivo para el Doctorado de Psicología de la Universidad del Salvador (USAL).
Autora del libro “La disponibilidad del analista: relación terapéutica persona, presencia y mutualidad”
En el XI Congreso de Psicoanálisis Argentino 2018 recibió un premio al mejor trabajo en el eje temático Psicoanálisis y Universidad.

Adriana Cuenca PhD (México y EE. UU.) es psicoterapeuta psicoanalítica quien trabaja en la práctica privada en Tijuana, México y San Diego, Estados Unidos. Profesora y supervisora en el Programa de Maestría en Psicoterapia Psicoanalítica Relacional de la Universidad Marista de Mérida, México. Miembro de la Asociación de Terapeutas Matrimoniales y Familiares de California CAMFT. Miembro del Consejo Directivo de IARPP y Co-presidente del Comité de Seminarios Web.

Alejandra Plaza (México) Es ex Presidenta de IARPP México y miembro fundador del capítulo. Actualmente es Co-Coordinadora general del Consejo Directivo de IARPP México y Co- Coordinadora del Taller de escritura de Textos Relacionales. Junto con el Dr. Joan Coderch, es coautora del libro “Emoción y relaciones humanas. El psicoanálisis relacional como terapéutica social ” (2016). Fue presidenta del Instituto de Investigaciones en Psicología Clínica y Social, analista didacta y supervisora de la misma institución. Miembro actual del comité de Seminarios Web de la IARPP.

The Availability of the Analyst. Therapeutic Relationship, Person, Presence and Mutuality

Welcome to the 2024 Spanish Seminar.
We are very excited to open a space for the discussion and reflection of fundamental material for relational clinical work. What does the availability of the analyst, which we talk so much about, refer to? Silvia Saraceno Fasce has dedicated herself to doing research on what this idea refers to and we are going to have the opportunity to comment on it with her.
She states that “the availability of the analyst is a multidimensional construct, where the analyst is committed and involved both with his person and with his professional work, which will be evident when displaying his personal qualities and the different instrumental functions that the singularity of the patient requires during the analytical encounter” (Saraceno, 2023).
How can the relevant functions of availability be co-constructed? This questions and similar other questions will be open for discussion.
Silvia invites expert patients and expert analysts to a dialogue in which the functions that the analyst needs to cover arise, such as support, mutuality, empathy, the reverie function, among others.
We invite you all to participate and to question ourselves, as Silvia suggests, about what happens in this “complex interweaving that occurs between the subjective worlds of the analyst and the patient”.

She has a PhD in Psychology (USAL), Master in Psychoanalysis. Mg (USAL-APA), Clinical (UK) and Institutional Psychologist, Graduate in Business Administration (UB) and Public Accountant (UB).
Member of the International Association of Psychoanalysis and Relational Psychotherapy (IARPP), Member of the Association of Argentine Psychiatrists (APSA), Analyst in training of the Argentine Psychoanalytic Association (APA), Member of the Contemporary Psychoanalysis Research Team and/or the Disruptive for the Doctorate of Psychology at the University of Salvador (USAL).
Author of the book “The availability of the analyst: therapeutic relationship between person, presence and mutuality”
At the XI Argentine Psychoanalysis Congress 2018 she received an award for the best work in the thematic axis of Psychoanalysis and University.

Adriana Cuenca PhD (Mexico and USA) is a psychoanalytic psychotherapist who works in private practice in Tijuana, Mexico and San Diego, United States. Professor and supervisor in the Master’s Program in Relational Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy at the Universidad Marista de Mérida, Mexico. Member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists CAMFT. Member of the IARPP Board of Directors and Co-chair of the Webinar Committee.

Alejandra Plaza PhD.  (Mexico) She is former President of IARPP Mexico and founding member of the chapter. She is currently Co-General Coordinator of the Board of Directors of IARPP Mexico and Co-Coordinator of the Relational Text Writing Workshop. Together with Dr. Joan Coderch, she is co-author of the book “Emotion and human relations. Relational psychoanalysis as social therapy” (2016). She was president of the Research Institute in Clinical and Social Psychology, analyst didacta and supervisor of the same institution. Current member of the IARPP Webinar committee.
