We are delighted to welcome Susanna Federici and Gianni Nebbiosi for a conversation on their article, “Miming and Clinical Psychoanalysis: Enhancing Our Intersubjective Sensibility” (2022).
Their work invites us to explore how miming and embodied forms of communication can deepen our sensitivity to the subtle, often nonverbal dimensions of intersubjective experience. This conversation will offer an opportunity to reflect on how attending to bodily expression, gesture, and shared affect can enrich our clinical listening and psychoanalytic understanding of the therapeutic encounter.
We look forward to an engaging exchange with our IARPP community!
