“The Insanity of Narcissism”

Daniel Shaw recently published this article in the Huffington Post. In this piece, written prior to the USA election, Shaw describes the particular type of traumatizing narcissist who might be the leader of a cult, or an autocratic political figure…or both. Elaborating Erich Fromm’s conceptualization of the “malignant narcissist,” Shaw describes the destructiveness these leaders are capable of, warning that “it can happen here.”
