Dear IARPP Members,
We are pleased to present the current edition of the eNews, in which we share news from our IARPP community with our members around the world.
In this edition we are proud to present an interview with our new IARPP President, Chana Ullman (Israel), in which she shares her thoughts and goals as she assumes leadership of our organization. We also include news from the Conference Committee as we anticipate coming together as a community in Rome this week. Also included here is a tribute to Muriel Dimen (USA), one of our founding members who recently passed away.
This edition also includes news from our Local Chapters Committee, announcing important changes in IARPP-Spain and IARPP-UK as these chapters continue to grow and flourish. IARPP-Australia has sent a report announcing a plethora of programs down under. Additionally, we feature an interview with Roberto D’Angelo, the Chair of IARPP-Australia, discussing the various activities of the Australian chapter including preparations for the IARPP conference in Sydney next year.
Finally, we bring you updates from the Colloquium, Webinar, and Candidates’ Committees. A new group within IARPP, the Child, Adolescent, and Parent Psychotherapy Committee, led by Ann Marie Sacramone (USA) and Susi Federici (Italy), shares its plans and current activities as well.
We continue to invite our IARPP members to submit items for publication in the Bookshelf and eNews. Last year we were pleased to present a wonderful collection of photos taken and shared by our Toronto conference participants. If you attend the Rome conference please consider submitting your photos for possible inclusion in the next eNews. Our upcoming deadline for submissions has been extended to June 30, 2016. Instructions for submitting pieces for future editions of the Bookshelf and eNews appear below.
Sincerely,
Christina Emanuel (USA) and Maria Tammone (Italy)
