We are honored to invite psychotherapists and psychoanalysts from all around the world to the conference:
“Meeting of Traditions: Field, Link and Matrix in Psychoanalytic Theory and Practice”
Inspired by the encounter between the relational paradigm and its possible Latin American equivalents, we seek to generate mutual learning and discovery, as well as opportunities for discussion and dialogue, in the hope of developing new visions and forging common ground. Latin American psychoanalytic tradition has stemmed from several psychoanalytic schools of thought and has been colored by ideas that emerge from work with families, couples and groups, within the context of powerful social crisis. This results in a very particular blend and one that is complementary with relational thinking. Thus, in Stephen Mitchell’s spirit, we expect the most of comparative psychoanalysis in this conference. In that same spirit of integration, this will be the first IARPP International Bilingual (English –Spanish) Conference and the first to be held in Latin America. This both moves us and fills us with pride, which at the same time is a great collaborative and professional challenge.

IARPP 11th Conferencia Internacional

Tenemos el honor de invitar a todos los psicoterapeutas y psicoanalistas de los cuatro puntos cardinales a la conferencia:
“Encuentro de Tradiciones: Campo, Vínculo y Matriz en la Teoría y Práctica Psicoanalíticas.”
A partir de este encuentro entre el paradigma relacional y sus posibles equivalentes latinoamericanos, buscamos generar un aprendizaje y descubrimiento mutuo, así como oportunidades de discusión y diálogo en el desarrollo de nuevas concordancias y visiones. La tradición del psicoanálisis latinoamericano ha crecido gracias a los aportes de distintas corrientes psicoanalíticas que se han matizado con las ideas que surjen del trabajo con familias, parejas y grupos, en el contexto de poderosas crisis sociales, logrando así una síntesis particular y muy complementaria a la mirada relacional. Siguiendo la senda indicada por Stephen Mitchell, esperamos lo mejor del psicoanálisis comparativo en esta Conferencia. En este mismo espíritu de integración será la primera Conferencia Internacional bilingüe de la IARPP. (Español -Inglés), y la primera en Latinoamérica. Lo que nos llena de orgullo y emoción, al mismo tiempo que nos significa un gran desafío profesional y humano.

El capítulo chileno de la IARPP, de joven historia y ya con más de 100 miembros, está feliz de poder brindarles un espacio de hospitalidad, riqueza intelectual, poética y de bellezas naturales, que permitan un dialogo fructífero y un encuentro al mejor nivel.
