A note to our members around the world:

We want to wish all of you a healthy, more peaceful holiday time and as-happy-as-possible New Year as we come to the end of what has been a most difficult, disturbing, traumatic year for so many of us. Matt captured so beautifully in his compelling note/poem/elegy to IARPP the challenges we have faced in 2024, and the ways we have worked, thought, and felt together to stay connected to ourselves and each other in these most dark times.

It was wonderful to see so many of you in Mérida, and we hope to see you again soon in Athens. We missed those of you who were not able to gather together with us last June and hope it will be possible for you to join us this year. Being together in person is an inspiring, reassuring experience for many of us, as we have a chance to work, play, and listen to each other in our extraordinary international IARPP community of members from 49 countries, including now Bulgaria, Serbia, Georgia and the Russian Federation, as well as Chile and Columbia, Israel and Spain, Uruguay and Greece, South Africa, Mexico, Iran, Japan, and Canada, to name just a few of the countries that comprise our more-than-2000-member community. If you find that you cannot make it to Athens in June, there will be a chance, as there was in Mérida, to join us for the plenaries on Zoom. We hope you will join us in whichever way is possible.

We are looking forward to another rich year of conferences, colloquia, symposia, and other opportunities to be together. Please let your friends and colleagues know about IARPP and what you have been enjoying about being part of this community. If we can be of help in inviting members of your communities to get to know and join us, please let us know. And let us know as well your ideas about what would further enrich your experience as a member of our community.

We hope to see you soon.
