Romania
IARPP Romania recently held its first leadership transition. We are deeply grateful to all those who coordinated the association’s activities during the initial mandate and, in particular, to former chair Valentin Miu, whose contribution was essential in shaping the development of our chapter during this first stage.
IARPP Romania continues to host the annual “Relational Explorations” seminar, a series of meetings dedicated to members of our community and to all those interested in relational psychoanalysis and psychotherapy. The seminar provides a space for reflection and dialogue on central themes of relational psychoanalysis, with presentations offered by professionals within our community.
Our activity is centered on what I consider to be the two pillars that support IARPP Romania: the development of a sense of belonging within the community of professionals interested in relational psychoanalysis, and the cultivation of professional development, both practical and theoretical, in this field.
Finally, we wish to pay tribute to our colleague Sorina Năstase, one of the initiators of the effort to establish our chapter, who sadly passed away in the early stages of our chapter’s formation, and whom we appreciated for her intellectual distinction and for the warm, friendly atmosphere she offered so generously to those around her.
Best regards,
