The Ukrainian Chapter of IARPP was founded at the end of 2023. Since then, we have managed to implement several projects for the development and support of the relational perspective.

First of all, we have held seven relational meetings, live discussions of psychotherapists from different theoretical orientations in which we think together about various topics currently relevant in our space. The most recent meeting focused on “Psychoanalytic interventions and depressive symptoms: What the research says.” The highlight of these meetings is the large dynamic group, where various needs, ideas, etc. arise through free interaction and learning.

We have implemented a number of other online projects, such as Relational Reading Groups, where both books and articles are discussed; supervision groups in mono and poly leadership; and the Relational Club, to which we are able to attract international lecturers and IARPP members, most recently Robert Grossmark (USA). We have already held ten meetings, eight at the national level and two at the international level.

Our Initiative Group has implemented two additional features. The first is a library where we collect articles and books. The second is the Dream Lair, an application that allows users to keep diaries of their dreams and respond to each other.

In accordance with the statutes of the Ukrainian Chapter of IARPP, a new president, Lfrisa Yenko, and chair of the board, Olena Manadiz, were elected.
