Greetings from Romania,
The first year of operation of the Romanian Chapter of IARPP was a very active one, and we managed to fulfill the tasks we set ourselves. This gives us the confidence to move forward and to think about a step-by-step development of our association.
Thus, the members of our association met every month to study the basic texts of the Relational perspective, meetings that we call Relational Explorations. The atmosphere created during the meetings was a pleasant and useful one, and this encouraged us to think about the possibility of organizing these meetings with even more attention. Currently we are concerned with organizing a program of Relational studies that spans a period of two years and which includes the way in which the different psychoanalytic perspectives have been metamorphosed by Relational elaborations.
Also, we held a series of 12 meetings with Margaret (Peggy) Crastnopol (USA). The benefits of these meetings are great for our group, and we will continue meeting next year. We are currently in the process of organizing and streamlining these meetings.
For 2022, we are considering the organization of several internal events with other Relational psychoanalysts from abroad, through which we can get even more in touch with the specific ways of Relational thinking.
I also want to underline our growing interest in events organized by IARPP or announced through the IARPP network. As a result, more and more people in Romania are interested in the Romanian Chapter and the Relational perspective.

Salutari din Romania,
Primul an de functionare a Chapterului Romania al IARPP a fost unul foarte activ si am reusit sa ne indeplinim tasks pe care ni le-am propus. Acest fapt ne ofera incredere pentru a merge inainte si pentru a ne gandi la o dezvoltare, pas cu pas, a asociatiei noastre.
Astfel, membrii asociatiei noastre s-au intalnit in fiecare luna pentru studiul textelor de baza ale perspectivei relationale, intalniri pe care le-am denumit Explorari relationale. Atmosfera creata in cadrul intalnirilor a fost una placuta si utila si asta ne-a incurajat sa ne gandim la posibilitatea de a organiza aceste intalniri cu si mai multa atentie. In prezent suntem preocupati de organizarea unui program de studii relationale care sa se intinda pe o perioada de 2 ani si care sa cuprinda modul in care diferitele perspective psihanalitice de gandire au fost metamorfozate de elaborarile relationale.
De asemenea, intalnirile cu Margaret (Peggy) Crastnopol, in total 12 la numar, au avut loc asa cum ne-am propus. Beneficiile acestor intalniri sunt mari pentru grupul nostru, fapt care se traduce si in continuarea, in urmatorul an, a acestor intalniri. In prezent suntem in proces de organizare si eficientizare a acestor intalniri.
Avem in vedere, pentru anul 2022, organizarea catorva evenimente interne cu alti psihanalisti relationali din strainatate, prin intermediul carora sa intram si mai mult in contact cu modul specific de gandire relationala. Acest fapt se traduce si prin interesul nostru crescand pentru evenimentele organizate de IARPP sau anuntate prin intermediul retelei IARPP. Ca rezultat, din ce in ce mai multe persoane din Romania sunt interesate de Chapterul Romania si perspectiva relationala.
