The IARPP Australian Chapter commenced its 2025 seminar series in March with an in-person event in Sydney, featuring Dr. Jill Salberg (USA). This marked the Chapter’s first in-person seminar since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Salberg delivered a one-day seminar on the timely and significant topic of Trauma Across the Generations. The event was well attended, and participants found the seminar to be both informative and engaging. Attendees also appreciated the opportunity to reconnect and socialise in person.
Our online seminar program continued in May, with Dr. Sue Grand (USA) delivering two well-received presentations. Looking ahead, we are pleased to welcome Dr. Andrea Celenza (USA) and Dr. Joyce Slochower (USA), who will present during the second half of the year. In 2026, we look forward to seminars from Lindy Cundy (UK), Dr. Helena Vissing (UK), and Dr. Cheryl Goldstein (USA). We warmly welcome both regular and new participants to join us for these upcoming events.
The IARPP Australia Chapter committee was pleased to welcome Dr. Louise Du Chesne as a new committee member in 2025. Our monthly IARPP Reading Groups—initiated by committee members in Melbourne—continue to be attended with enthusiasm by members across Australia and New Zealand.
