Led by Margaret Black Mitchell (USA), our group consists of candidates from all over the world who come together to create a place where the focus is specifically on and for candidates and early career psychoanalysts.
Our last online webinar (February-March 2020) was led by Margaret Crastnopol (USA) on the topic “Micro-trauma and Beyond: Recent Thoughts on Addressing Cumulative Psychic Injury.” For three weeks, we read and learned from the papers and contributions by Crastnopol. We also had the chance to converse with candidates from all over the world, as candidates from the USA, Italy, Spain, Israel, Canada, Russian Federation, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Australia, France, Sweden, Chile, Greece, Romania and Turkey participated in the webinar.
Designed specifically and only for candidates and early career psychoanalysts and relationally trained psychotherapists, webinars sponsored by the Candidates Committee provide opportunities to learn from some of the most accomplished members of our community, as well as a chance to interact with an international group of peers.
As we all know, because of the terrible pandemic, the conference in Los Angeles had to be cancelled. The Candidates Committee had put out a call for papers for our candidates’ panel, and the theme of the panel was to have been “Thinking, Participating, & Speaking Outside of the Box.” For this panel, we were looking for papers that offered a clinical perspective on the experience of candidates actively engaged and challenged to think and/or speak outside of the box, to push the boundaries and limits of their training, experience, or own sense of personal comfort. We received 16 proposals from candidates all over the world and had the difficult task of choosing four. Amalia Fermandois Schmutzer from Chile, Sam Guzzardi and Michael Melmed from the USA, and Bettina von Lieres from Canada were going to be our presenters, and we truly hope we can still have them present next year.

Dirigido por Margaret Black Mitchell (EEUU), nuestro grupo está formado por candidatos/as de todo el mundo que se unen con el fin de crear un lugar que pone el foco específicamente en personas candidatas y analistas en sus primeros años de ejercicio profesional.
Nuestro webinar más reciente (Febrero-Marzo de 2020) fue conducido por Margaret Crastnopol (EEUU) sobre el tema “Más allá del Micro-trauma: Pensamientos recientes sobre cómo abordar el daño psíquico acumulativo”. Durante tres semanas, leímos y aprendimos de los artículos y contribuciones de Crastnopol. Tuvimos también la oportunidad de conversar con candidatos/as de todo el mundo: Estados Unidos, Italia, España, Israel, Canadá, Rusia, Nueva Zelanda, Reino Unido, Australia, Francia, Suecia, Chile, Grecia, Rumanía y Turquía.
Diseñados específicamente y en exclusividad para candidatas y analistas en sus primeros años de ejercicio profesional, así como para terapeutas en formación relacional, los webinars patrocinados por el Comité de Candidatos proporcionan la oportunidad de aprender a algunos de los miembros más reconocidos de nuestra comunidad, así como la oportunidad de interactuar con un grupo internacional de colegas.
Como ya sabemos, debido a la terrible pandemia que estamos viviendo, la conferencia de Los Ángeles se ha suspendido. El Comité de Candidatos había lanzado un llamamiento a propuestas de trabajos para el Panel de Candidatos, cuyo tema iba a ser “Pensando, Participando y Hablando de formas no convencionales”. Para este panel, pedíamos que los trabajos ofrecieran una perspectiva clínica sobre la experiencia de las personas candidatas a la hora de verse inmersos en el desafío de tener que pensar e intervenir de formas no convencionales, de ver presionados las fronteras y límites de sus propias formaciones, experiencias y propias zonas de seguridad. Recibimos un total de 16 propuestas de candidatos/as de todo el mundo y nos enfrentamos a la difícil tarea de elegir cuatro. Amalia Fermandois Schmutzer de Chile, Sam Guzzardi and Michael Melmed de Estados Unidos, y Bettina von Lieres de Canadá iban a ser los participantes, y esperamos que puedan presentar sus trabajos el año próximo.

ועדת הקנדידטים בניהולה של מרגרט מיטצ׳ל שמה דגש על הקשר עם מטפלים צעירים ומתמחים בפסיכואנליזה מהקהילה ההתייחסותית.
ערכנו וובינר אינטרנטי עם מרגרט קרסטנופול על מיקרו טראומה. בסמינר השתתפו מטפלים מרחבי הגלובוס: ניו זילנד, אוסטרליה, רומניה, ארהב, ישראל, יוון, תורכיה, אנגליה רוסיה ועוד.
קראנו 3 מאמרים מרתקים של מרגרט שהנחתה אותנו בנדיבות ובנעימות.
התכוננו לפאנל קנדידטים לקראת הכנס בלוס אנג׳לס שלצערנו הרב נדחה בגלל מגפת הקורונה העולמית. מתוך 20 אבסטרקטים נבחרו 4 הרצאות מרתקות שתיים מארה״ב, אחת מקנדה ואחת מצ׳ילה.
