Dear colleagues,

It has been a long year here in Athens dealing with the pandemic. Prolonged lockdowns coupled with school closings and severe restrictions put a stranglehold on the economy and drastically changed our way of living, working and relating. Mental health issues have multiplied exponentially and have affected people of all ages. The reluctance of many individuals to get vaccinated together with the ever-appearing new mutations of the virus seem to presage yet another difficult fall and winter.

In terms of our professional activities, we completed with great success a Zoom seminar with Dr. Avgi Saketopoulou (USA) on “Thinking and Working Relationally.” Participants studied and discussed an interesting selection of seminal papers and linked them to clinical cases presented by group members.

We are still in the process of planning our educational activities for the next academic year, and we will send out an announcement as soon as the program is finalized.

Αγαπητοί συνάδελφοι,

Φέτος ολοκληρώσαμε με πολλή επιτυχία ένα διαδικτυακό σεμινάριο με την Δρ. Αυγή Σακετοπούλου (Νέα Υόρκη) με θέμα “Thinking and Working Relationally.” Το σεμινάριο αυτό συμπεριλάμβανε την μελέτη και ανάλυση σημαντικών άρθρων και την σύνδεση των θεωρητικών εννοιών με κλινικά περιστατικά τα οποία παρουσίασαν οι συμμετέχοντες.

Βρισκόμαστε ακόμα στην διαδικασία σχεδιασμού των εκπαιδευτικών δραστηριοτήτων για το επόμενο ακαδημαϊκό έτος και θα σας κοινοποιήσουμε το πρόγραμμα μόλις είναι έτοιμο.
