From the Editors

By Christina Emanuel (USA) and Maria Tammone (Italy)

Dear IARPP Community,

We are pleased to present the Bookshelf edition of the IARPP eNews, in which we feature the recent scholarly contributions made by members of our international community.

Our members have recently published a diverse array of books and articles, including a Spanish translation of Philip Bromberg’s classic The Shadow of the Tsunami (La Sombra del Tsunami), translated by a group led by Carlos Rodríguez Sutil (Spain).  Additionally, Paul Renn (UK) recently edited an issue of Psychoanalytic Inquiry in which the authors take up attachment theory in the clinical process.

We would also like to highlight several members’ chapters published in Susan Lord’s book, Moments of Meeting in Psychoanalysis: Interaction and Change in the Therapeutic Encounter.  News of various presentations around the world made by IARPP members completes this issue of the Bookshelf.

See below for a detailed list and links to all articles in this issue of the IARPP Bookshelf.  Also, please see below for information about submitting items to an upcoming issue of the IARPP Bookshelf or eNews.  The next deadline for submissions is January 31, 2018.

Sincerely,

Christina Emanuel and Maria Tammone
