Dear IARPP Members,
The Membership Committee of IARPP wishes good holidays and a healthy New Year ahead to our more than two thousand members (and growing) in 48 countries, from Ukraine to Australia, from Norway to Chile, and all over the world. Welcome to IARPP to the 120 new members who have already joined us for the 2023 membership year.
Our 2022 Membership year ends January 31, 2023. IARPP recently emailed you a membership renewal notice. Please take the time to renew your membership as soon as possible, either through that email or by clicking here. Do let us know if you have ideas about what might further enrich your IARPP experience by writing to us at office [at] iarpp.net
Here are some highlights from this year at IARPP:
We raised $138,332 and counting for our colleagues in Ukraine, with contributions from 567 individuals (members and non-members alike). We thank you all for your generosity.
Our webinars have been full, participation-active and growing each year, and participation in our Colloquia have been growing too, at a rapid rate, with our most recent one, in November, featuring Matt Aibel’s (USA) paper on a sleepy analyst, generating 338 posts! Our May Colloquium on the work of Philip Bromberg generated a great many postings as well, with 79 different members contributing to that rich and generative discussion of the analyst’s self-revelation. Our webinars and colloquia have functioned as bustling town squares in which we are fortunate to hear the many voices of our diverse international community.
Six-hundred twenty-five members participated in our rich and highly satisfying return to our traditional live Conference format, which in combination with our Zoom-enabled streaming of plenaries made for our first hybrid conference in Los Angeles. Planning for our 2023 Valencia, Spain conference in June is underway, with many high-quality paper and panel proposals coming in from all over the world. We hope to see you there, and that those unable to join us in Valencia in person will be able to share in the experience from wherever you are by once again streaming the plenaries.
With all best hopes and wishes for happy holidays ahead and a better 2023.
