At the very end of his life, Dr. Lew Aron reread and taught Loewald. Why the renewed interest in Loewald at the end of Dr. Aron’s life? What was his reading of Loewald? How is it that, generation after generation, Loewald’s work continues to inspire psychoanalysts? The Loewald Center has been granted access to audio tapes and transcripts of Dr. Aron teaching Loewald. Using audio excerpts as well as transcripted material from his last seminars, three close colleagues of Dr. Aron discuss these questions and more.
