The colloquium will look at the ways in which psychoanalysis has conceptualized, as well as on many occasions been impacted as a discipline by political and historical events, war and social strife in particular. As always, a panel of distinguished scholars will join the authors in discussing the texts and the questions they inspire, and midway the conversation will be opened to all members who wish to take part.
