Online Colloquia: Colloquium 5
The IARPP is pleased to announce the fifth online colloquium, based on the paper "Faggot=Loser" by Ken Corbett. This remarkable piece deals with the nature of masculinity, the dialectic between homosexuality and heterosexuality, child psychoanalytic treatment, and the interface between analytic developmental theory and technique per se. The distinguished panel includes Corbett himself, Nancy Chodorow, David Eng, Martin Frommer, Steven Cooper, Stephen Frosh, Andrew Samuels, Virginia Goldner, and Donald Moss. Our moderators are Daniel Shaw and Larry Zelnick. The colloquium will begin on Feb. 7 and run through Feb. 27, 2005. All current IARPP members are invited to participate. The National Institute for the Psychotherapies Training Institute (NIP TI) is approved by the American Psychological Association to offer continuing education for psychologists. NIP TI maintains responsibility for the program. CE Credits: 5 Members* of IARPP may access the paper and discussion using the following link: http://iarpp.net/archive/index.html.
