Our Study Group continues to work on Ecopsychoanalysis. In January we had an open discussion with Joseph Dodds (Czech Republic) on a number of pertinent topics. Given the widespread intrusion of technology in all aspects of our lives, should we start thinking about a new ecology of technology and digitalization? What kind of collective action can we take regarding the human-nature relation? How can we motivate young people and teenagers to take action regarding these matters as citizens of the future?

As planned, after completing the study of the book Psychoanalysis and Ecology at the Edge of Chaos, our group decided to spend time discussing the sociopolitical aspects of psychoanalysis. We are currently working on Lynn Layton’s “Attacks on Linking: The Unconscious Pull to Dissociate Individuals from their Social Context.” We plan to continue the Ecopsychoanalysis group for a third year, having as a central axis of our thinking the advance and complications of the post human era.

Meanwhile, given the devastating effect of the extended lockdowns on youth, we are thinking about organizing a workshop with chapter members working with children to discuss the repercussions of the pandemic from the standpoint of attachment theory.

Τα νέα του Παραρτήματος της Θεσσαλονίκης

Η ομάδα μας για την Οικοψυχανάλυση συνεχίζει τις εργασίες της για δεύτερη χρονιά και τον Ιανουάριο του 2022 προσκαλέσαμε ξανά τον Joseph Dodds σε μια ανοιχτή συζήτηση με θέματα που θίγει στο βιβλίο του “Psychoanalysis and Ecology  at the edge of Chaos”.  Στη συνάντησή μας αναδύθηκαν πολλές ερωτήσεις,  όπως:  Πώς μπορούμε να προσεγγίσουμε τη νέα οικολογία της τεχνολογίας και της ψηφιοποίησης στη ζωή μας, με ποιον τρόπο μπορούμε να αναλάβουμε συλλογική δράση σε θέματα που αφορούν τη σχέση φύσης και ανθρώπου,  πώς μπορούμε να κινητοποιήσουμε τους νέους να αναλάβουν δράση σε αυτά τα θέματα ως μελλοντικοί πολίτες ενός κόσμου που κινδυνεύει από εξαφάνιση.

Σύμφωνα με το χρονοδιάγραμμά μας περάσαμε στη μελέτη των κοινωνικοπολιτικών διαστάσεων της ψυχανάλυσης με πρώτη εργασία το άρθρο της Lynn Layton ‘Attacks on linking: the unconscious pull to dissociate individuals from their social context’.

Επιπρόσθετα, ζητήσαμε από μέλη μας που εργάζονται με παιδιά να σχεδιάσουν ένα ανοιχτό σεμινάριο για τις επιπτώσεις της πανδημίας από την οπτική της θεωρίας του δεσμού.
